Mission Statement

Motivated by Christ's love, Food for Hungry International exists to meet both the physical and spiritual hungers of the poor.

Sharing this common Vision & Mission, the undersigned covenant before God to:

1-First and foremost seek God's will through prayer together, rather than our own organizational interest.

2-Adhere to work together to achieve our common purposes (attachment #1), goal (vision of community - attachment #2), organizational values and style (attachment #3), and criteria for membership (including Lausanne Covenant and Biblical moral ethics - attachment #4).

3-Recognize that the FHI Federation Elders Council has authority for this covenant, membership, and to develop and guard the good name of the International Family.

The Commitment:

We are convicted by the Holy Spirit to respond to God's call and accept the responsibilities of being a member of Food for the Hungry International Federation. By this covenant, we are committed to be faithful stewards serving Jesus Christ in the fulfillment of the mission, purposes and vision of FHI together as a decentralized network through the Elders Council.
