Page 1 of 8 Statutes of the Association of Article 1 NAME AND SEAT 1.1 Under the name of FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION, an Association (hereinafter called the “FHI Federation”) has been formed in Kota Kinabalu, Saba h , Malaysia on December 6, 2006 and registered in the Commercial Registry of Geneva, Switzerland. It is organized corporately pursuant to the present statutes and pursuant to art. 60 et seg. of the Swiss Civil Code. 1.2 The FHI Federation's domicile is in the Canton Geneva. Article 2 PURPOSE, CORPORATE IDENTITY AND PRINCIPLES 2.1 The FHI Federation consists of like-minded Members coming together in a modified decentralization for support and cooperation in divine strength and intercession to carry out the Corporate Identity and Vision of Community “VOC” (attachment 1). 2.2 The Vision of FHI Federation is to en all types of hunger through jointly coordinated actions of its members or directly operate in another country. This purpose and vision of community shall be pursued through a) advocacy, b) agriculture, c) child development, d) commodities, e) economic development, f) education, g) emergency relief, h) funding like-minded organizations, i) health, j) leadirship development, k) obtaining donations, l) sending people, m) water development and any other direct or indirect acitvities relate to the Fedration´s purpose. 2.3 The principles of the Federation are: a) Freedom and Responsibility Each member has freedom and responsibility to design its management, operations, and legal identity supported by the appropriate human, technical and financial resources. Thus, the Federation does not control the operational activities of its members. |
